"Forget Princess, Call Me President" is, in our humble opinion, the greatest girl power t-shirt slogan ever coined. It came from the mind of the amazing Peggy Orenstein, author of the critically-acclaimed "Cinderella Ate My Daughter." Years ago Peggy told our dear friend Jo Hadley, the founder of our sister brand Handsome in Pink, that she thought someone should put it on a t-shirt one day. And Jo replied, without missing a beat," That person is going to be me."
In 2017, when Jo was ready to move on from Handsome in Pink after ten years of fighting gender stereotypes in kids' clothing, we bought the company and its designs from her. We did it in large part because we have always been desperately in love with this slogan and wished we'd come up with it ourselves.
We're beyond proud to give "Forget Princess, Call Me President" the presidential treatment, printed in sparkly gold and white on a crisp navy tee. Get cozy with that presidential seal, future presidents. One of you will be wearing the real thing one day.
Fashionable Garments, Ethically Produced

Unisex Tee Sizing and Fit
Our unisex tees run large and the fit is loose and relaxed. Your shirt will shrink a bit the first time it is washed, but because this style runs large we do not recommend sizing up.
"Girly" Tee Sizing and Fit
Our "girly" tees have a slightly wider neck, shorter sleeves, and a slimmer fit than our unisex tees. They run small and the fit is slim and fitted, so they accentuate the awesomeness of toddler bellies. Your shirt will shrink a little the first time it is washed. If you're on the fence about which size to order, we recommend sizing up.
